REPERTOIRE – an RAD Preparation Program
REPERTOIRE – an RAD Preparation Program, is the Royal Academy of Dance’s newest offering to the world of dance. Academie de Ballet Classique is participating in the world-wide trial of the Repertoire Syllabus. This new exciting syllabus includes three levels with 2 long variations for each level.
Developmental enchainments prepare dancers very nicely for the variations.
Male & Female work includes the following:
Level One development exercises and variations are from Coppelia Act II – Female Spanish Variation and from Giselle’s Peasant pas de deux, 2nd variation
Level Two development exercises and variations are from Giselle peasant pas de deux 1st variation and from Les Sylphides Waltz.
Level Three development exercises and variations are from Swan Lake Act II – Odette, male variation and from The Nutcracker’s Act II.
DRESS CODE: No jewelry allowed (earrings, piercings, watches, bracelets, necklaces) Please leave valuables at home for safe keeping.
Females: Upper Grades Level 6 or Level 7 leotard, pink tights, pink leather full-soled ballet shoes and matching shoe ribbons. Hair secured tied into a classical ballet bun.
Males: Black or navy footless tights, dance belt, white tank or short-sleeved leotard, white ballet socks, white leather full-soled ballet shoes.
