Students must have taken Intermediate Contemporary at ABC or have intermediate contemporary prior dance experience and with instructors approval for this class.

Advanced Contemporary
There’s no better style to support the development of strong, versatile dance technique than through our Contemporary Modern dance classes.
Bolstered by ballet technique, dancers take natural movement with dramatic contemporary imagery into a “comingling of dance styles”. With ballet as the foundation, dancers explore cultural dances and styles.
These classes are highly recommended for dancers who are serious about refining their skills and becoming the most well-rounded performers they can be—regardless of their preferred genre.
Students of this genre are frequently invited to perform at community events and showcases, that highlight our local Central Oregon talent.
