This challenging level draws on solid technical skills allowing for the advanced level that choreography demands. Vocabulary expands with advanced levels of choreography, performance quality and musical responsiveness. Work includes Free Movement (lyrical) and court dances of Eastern Europe.
As Upper Levels of ballet, this course of study draws from the Romantic Era of ballet, such as Fanny Elsler, Carolotta Grisi, Anna Pavlova, Isadora Duncan, and Marie Taglioni stars of the period. Sensitive and artistic, students work on the style of the period.
Regulation R.A.D. regulation uniform included in tuition.
Hair MUST be secured into a classical ballet bun or ponytail. Short hair may be held off the face with a headband. All items are included within all-inclusive monthly tuition.
All students are rewarded with an unbiased assessment assuring a safe progression to the next level. Assessments occur in the spring each year as a fun way to show off what we’ve learned for the examiner.
Tuition includes one Assessment to be taken in the Spring, prop kit, and Character rental fee. Extras are divided up into 10 equal payments. If a dancer drops the class mid-year; they will be charged for the balance owed on props and examinations.
